As Mystique can change her appearance, she needs no clothes.
Female frontal nudity is a condition wherein the entire front of a woman's body, notably the lower half of her body including pubic area, is fully visible in a scene. With the exception of clips from National Geographic or other educational material, all scenes involving female frontal nudity take place in films with an R or X-rating. To be clear, you can show the hairy (or shaved) bits, but that is all. The vagina cannot be shown (though this is not necessarily representative of all countries attitudes to the subject). As with all forms of female nudity, scenes like this are designed to be provocative and rarely serve as a functional aspect of the story, unless it's a nudist film.
In film[]
- Basic Instinct: Sharon Stone's Catherine Trammell shows that she likes to go commando while undergoing police interrogation. In uncut versions of the film, Sharon Stone gives a flash while spreading her legs during one of the most infamous scenes in the movie.
- Educating Julie: Most of the women appearing in the film are completely nude. At this point, one should specify that it's a nudist film, and most of the men are nude too. Unlike the nudist films of the 60's, this actually contains shots where women are seen as fully nude, including the pubic region, which wasn't always allowed to be shown.
- Friday the 13th Part 2: The character of camp counselor Terry is shown completely nude in a scene where she goes skinny-dipping in the lake near Packanack Lodge. Breasts, buttocks and lower abdominal region are visible.
- Hard to Die: Five chicks in a lingerie shop and there's a shower scene. You figure it out.
- Humanoids from the Deep: One of the female victims, Becky, is completely nude during a scene wherein she is preparing to have sex in a tent right before being attacked by a monster. She then runs off in terror, still completely naked. The groin area is completely visible the entire scene.
- Lords of Salem, The: A group of naked witches appear in several scenes in the film. As they dance around the fire and walk down the long hallway, their breasts and pubic hair are visible. Many witches look sloppy and one of them, Margaret Morgan, is very old and covered with lots of wrinkles. Heidi and the woman in the bath are also shown naked, but only their buttocks and side breasts are visible.
- My Bloody Valentine 3D: After sex with her boyfriend, Irene is completely naked. While she stands talking to him in the motel and threatens him with a gun on the street, her breasts and shaved pubis are clearly visible.
- Piranha 3DD: Kiki is completely naked when she is shown walking towards the pool. A little later, the screen shows her, still naked, climbing the stairs from the pool.
- Predator II: When King Willy's team breaks into the room of a Colombian drug lord, he has rough sex with a prostitute. As the killers prepare for the voodoo ritual, the frightened girl is shown sitting on her knees. Her breasts and pubic hair are clearly visible.
- Revenge of the Nerds: The Tri-Lambda nerds set up cameras in the sorority house hallways where students are routinely walking around naked. Booger Dawson excitedly intones "We've got bush!" as one of the students appears full frontal.
- Satanic Rites of Dracula, The: A blonde-haired cultist lies completely nude on a sacrifice altar. Only a passing glimpse of the groin area can be seen, but the rest of her body is clearly visible.
- Shining, The: In the original 1980 film version of The Shining, the ghost of a woman named Lorraine Massey is shown in Room 237 completely naked. She manifests as both a young attractive woman and an old crone with rotting flesh, which is just dag-nasty.
- Zone of the Dead: A female zombie is shown with part of her lower groin area exposed. The shot is obscured slightly so no details can be made.
