Overview[]
Gazeem was Jafar's Henchman and a murderous thief from Agrabah.
Biography[]
On Jafar's orders he stole the other half of the Scarab Amulet (it was implied he killed a few people to obtain it) in exchange for the treasure in the Cave of Wonders.
Once they discover the Cave's location, Gazeem is sent to retrieve the lamp on the promise the rest of the treasure would be his. However, the cave's tiger head guardian entrance blew him away asking who disturbed his slumber. When Gazeem states his name, the guardian immediately saw Gazeem's greed and gave a cryptic warning stating "Only one may enter here. One who's worth lies far within: A diamond in the Worth"
Gazeem not realizing he was refused admittance and upon Jafar's pressure stepped into the mouth of the cave. At first he gave a sigh of relief but when the cave begins to collapse on top of him, Gazeem frantically tries to escape but the cave is too quick and slams his jaws on the thief alive much to Jafar's horror.
Jafar despite his terror showed no remorse for Gazeem's death going as far as stating "Gazeem was obviously less than worthy."
