- 2001: A Space Travesty: President Bill Clinton had to prove his identity against a clone of himself by demonstrating his ability to play the saxophone. There was also an opera group known as the Famous Tenors, who were based on The Three Tenors - Plácido Domingo, José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti.
- Halloween II (2009): Captain Clegg was a singer, musician and leader of the rock and roll band Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures. Clegg's band performed at the Phantom Jam in Haddonfield on October 31st, 2009. Some of the guests in attendance at the show include Laurie Strode, Mya Rockwell and Harley David.
- Sling Blade: Doyle Hargraves was an amateur country music musician who was the lead in a garage band in Benton, Arkansas.
