The film stars Janet Leigh as Marion Crane - a woman who is unsatisfied with her life, and decides to make a drastic change by stealing a large sum of money from her employer. While on the run, she stops at the Bates Motel run by fidgety motel manager Norman Bates, played by Anthony Perkins. Little does Marion know, but she has just stepped inside the lair of a killer.
