Soapdish is an American feature film of the comedy genre. It was directed by Michael Hoffman with a screenplay written by Robert Harling and Andrew Bergman. The comedic elements revolved around the notion that the actual lives of these actors is even more absurd than the ones of the character's they portray on the series The Sun Also Rises.
